About Us:

The Quantitative Virology and Evolution Unit is (https://qveu.github.io/QVEU/) housed within the Laboratory of Viral Diseases in the NIH-NIAID Intramural Research program and led by Patrick Dolan, Ph.D. The QVEU is interested in exploring the evolution and pathogenesis of RNA viruses, including flaviviruses and enteroviruses. Through experimental and computational studies we hope to better understand the constraints that shape viral evolution and emergence.

Benefits:

The stipends for postdoctoral trainees at the NIH are adjusted yearly; with supplements for prior experience, multiple degrees, and expertise in areas of current interest to the NIH such as mathematics, engineering, chemistry, and bioinformatics.
