A one year POSTDOCTORAL POSITION (with the option to extend an additional 1-3 years) is available to continue and expand studies into the mechanisms by which select virus-host interactions regulate entry and/or egress of emerging RNA viruses including Ebola, Marburg, and Lassa fever (as described in Liang et al., 2021 J. Virol.; 2022 J. Virol.; 2023 PNAS; and Han et al., 2020 PLOS Pathog.; 2020 J. Biol. Chem.; 2021 Antimicrob. Agents Chemotherapy. 

Highly motivated applicants with a doctoral degree (PhD or MD/analogue) and strong interests in the areas of emerging RNA viruses, molecular virology, virus-host interactions, and antiviral therapeutics, and experience in virology and/or molecular/cell biology are encouraged to apply. This position is supported by NIH grants.
