Who we are: The Animal Health Diagnostic Center (AHDC) is an AAVLD accredited veterinary diagnostic laboratory located in Ithaca, NY within the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. We are committed to improving the health of all animals and the work we perform helps protect and improve public health, promote environmental stewardship, and foster economic growth. What we do: As one of the most comprehensive veterinary diagnostic laboratories in the country, we receive over 200,000 submissions and process close to one million specimens annually, using both state of the art technology and methodologies that are more traditional, across twelve disciplines.
