Description:

Postdoctoral Research positions funded by the NIH to study virus infection and metabolism are available in the laboratory of Dr. John Purdy at the University of Arizona. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to study viral remodeling of host metabolism using mass spectrometry, metabolomics, and lipidomics. The ideal candidate will be interested in performing science creatively and rigorously while gaining extensive experience in mass spectrometry, lipidomics, metabolomics, metabolism, and virology. Candidates must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, show strong critical thinking skills, and be eager to perform state-of-the-art metabolic experiments.
