A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Richard Wang (http://profiles.utsouthwestern.edu/profile/83307/richard-wang.html) in the Department of Dermatology to study Human Papillomaviruses (HPVs) and Human Polyomaviruses (HPyVs). Our laboratory (https://www.utsouthwestern.edu/labs/wang-richard/) seeks to extend our novel findings on how high-risk HPVs and Merkel Cell Polyomavirus promote the development of deadly cancers. Our lab also studies the regulation of glucose transport and metabolism in skin development and disease, which allows for dynamic and collaborative interactions with other group members.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Candidates with experience in molecular genetics and cell biology, and evidence of publications in peer-reviewed journals are preferred.
Information on our postdoctoral training program and benefits can be found in our Postdoc Handbook or at http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/postdocs.
Interested individuals should send a cover letter, CV, and three references to:
