Postdoctoral Positions in Molecular Virology
A postdoctoral position in molecular virology to study hepatitis E virus (HEV) is available immediately. The candidate will study the molecular mechanisms of HEV replication, pathogenesis and vaccine development. The candidates will investigate the mechanism of HEV replication and pathogenesis, and delineate the mechanism of host responses against HEV infection. The candidate is expected to have good written and oral communication skills and is expected to provide some training for graduate students. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in virology or related fields. Preference will be given to those candidates who have prior hands-on experiences in molecular virology particularly in the area of viral reverse genetic systems and innate immunity, and who have published high-quality papers.
