J. Craig Venter Institute is conducting a broad faculty search for an outstanding candidate for Faculty positions in both our Rockville, Maryland and La Jolla, California locations. Compensation:

                   Associate Professor Salary Range: $140,000.00 To $189,000.00 Annually

                  Professor Salary Range: $185,000 - $212,000 Annually

Position Summary 

Faculty are expected to be research and project leaders for independently funded projects (as PIs or co-PIs) and to serve as leaders and major contributors for larger team projects involving multiple Professors. They are recognized nationally and internationally as important contributors to their research field.
