Description:

The Wylie lab studies host-microbiome interactions related to maternal and child health. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly supportive environment while learning molecular biology, microbiology and genomics. The primary functions of this position are to (1) prepare samples for metagenomic sequencing, (2) track samples and data, and (3) assist with primary data analysis. The successful applicant will enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

No experience is required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in any of the following: DNA extraction, PCR, sequencing library construction, analysis of microbiome data, computer skills (Unix, R, python).
