A postdoctoral position is available for studying host-arenavirus interactions using mouse models. Projects include studies on viral restriction factors, innate immunity, virus transmission and pathogenesis, and the genetics of susceptibility to viral infection. Techniques used in this work include molecular and cellular biology, immunology, transgenic and knockout mice and genetic models. A background in molecular biology, immunology, mouse genetics, transgenic/knockout mice or virology is required.
