Description:

Postdoctoral/Research Associate Position in the Center for Microbial Pathogenesis, Institute for Biomedical Sciences, Georgia State University are available to study emerging RNA virus-host interactions. Viruses of interest include Ebola virus, Nipah virus and SARS-CoV-2. Opportunities are available to work in high containment. For examples of our recent publications, see Batra et al. Cell 2018, Woolsey et al. Cell Reports 2019, Edwards et al. J. Virol 2020 and Silvas et al. bioRxiv 2020. Qualified applicants should have expertise in one or more of the following areas: virology, molecular and cellular biology, signal transduction or high throughput screening assay development. Prior experience in molecular virology is preferred. These positions offer a competitive salary. The qualified applicant must possess a doctoral degree for Postdoctoral/Research Associate Positions in a related field of study.
