Description:

The laboratory of Dr. Sebla B. Kutluay in the Department of Molecular Microbiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis has an opening for a Postdoctoral Associate. We use a multidisciplinary approach to understand the mechanism by which infected host cells sense and respond to HIV-1 infection as well as how viral and cellular RNA-binding proteins regulate HIV-1 replication. The ideal applicants will have a PhD or MD/PhD in biological sciences or related fields with less than 2 years of postdoctoral experience. Experience in molecular virology, molecular biology and biochemistry is required. Candidates with familiarity in programming skills are highly desired. In addition, applicant must have excellent spoken and written communication skills.
