The Frieman Lab at The University of Maryland School of Medicine in The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is seeking a highly motivated scientist to join our team.
We study the pathogenesis of respiratory viruses, specifically SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, 2019-nCoV and Influenza virus. We are currently focused on both in vitro and in vivo models to develop therapeutics to for the 2019-nCoV with a wider interest in broadly acting antiviral therapeutics.
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled scientist with interest in studying host:pathogen interactions and translating those findings into therapeutic discoveries. The ideal candidate has previous experience in virology, immunology, mouse pathogenesis and BSL3 research.
We have an immediate position open and would like to fill the position rapidly.
Interested applicants should email their CV and a one page cover letter outlining their current research accomplishments, along with contact information for at least two references to firstname.lastname@example.org.
