Postdocs needed for Type 2 immune responses to helminth infections
Postdoctoral positions are available in the new Type 2 Immunity Section at the Laboratory of Parasitic Diseases, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in Bethesda, MD. Applicants will be encouraged to develop their own research programs as well as to pursue different projects related to Type 2 immune responses to helminth infections in both clinical studies and experimental animal models. An important component of our work is to combine immunology and computational approaches in these studies.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent, less than 5 years of postdoctoral experience, and a history of productivity as evidenced by prior publications. Ph.D. students in their final year of studies are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have technical experience in aspects of immunology, bioinformatics, genomics, and computational biology and an interest in Type 2 immune responses or macrophage biology.
Candidates should submit their CV, a statement of research interests, and contact information for three references to P’ng Loke, Ph.D., at email@example.com.
