A position is available for a Graduate Research Assistant (MS or PhD student) candidate who is interested in working on animal and human viruses in the laboratory of Dr. Yunjeong Kim, Dept. of Diagnostic Medicine and Pathobiology at Kansas State University (http://www.vet.k-state.edu/education/dmp/faculty-staff/faculty/kim/index.html).
The research theme include the molecular characterization of host factor and viral replication in various animal and human viruses including coronavirus, pestivirus and parvovirus.
We are seeking a candidate who is highly motivated and responsible and eager to learn new techniques. Assistantship is available to an eligible candidate selected for the graduate program. Candidates need to have experience or are willing to do experiments involving mouse.
